So many things!

I am fairly busy preparing for craft fairs and Christmas so this post isn't going to be detailed at all. Not that I really write elaborate essays or anything.

I went home for Thanksgiving and dressed my cat Toby in my dog's sweater. I think it is a tight squeeze. I have also taken hold of the kitchen table and covered it with my craft things, and the living room too. But I can't just sit at the kitchen table when Sam and Dean are fighting Supernatural beings in the TV!!!

I feel bad for not posting for a while so this will have to do for now.

Reece

I've been thinking about doing some comic strips of Reece, Jac and me. Reece is such a character.

Art Walk in Paris, KY

In September I was lucky enough to be invited back to the bi-annual art walk in Paris, KY by Miranda from Edward Jones. It was a great experience and I sold quite a few drawings and paintings.

I am going to add a few of the images I have from that show to the gallery page so go check'em out.

Getting my knit on

My friend Beth Anne just showed me the basics of knitting last time she was here. Now I have been putting those skills to use. I made myself a little white, sparkly beanie with a pom pom. I made a chunky, ribbed Christmas scarf I intend to sell. And now I am working on another hat. Let me tell you knitting in the round is semi-easy at first when you are using a circular needle but once you begin the decreasing process and there are needles and yarn everywhere it becomes a yarn battle.

This chunktastic scarf would definitely fend against wintery winds.

Now I know pom poms were invented to cover up funky mistakes.
I somehow managed to make all of the stitches all backwardsy and I don't know how. But whatever it is on my head and I can't see it.

So to prepare myself for Christmas I am beginning to craft Christmas style. *Note large Christmas scarf above. So I made this little guy. He is a snowman pin. With a teeny tiny Christmas scarf of his own. I am not used to crocheting with itty bitty hooks so it took me longer to make that scarf than probably the rest of the little guy. I'd say it was two episodes of Supernatural. Of course it is hard to take your eyes off the screen when Dean is adorably fighting demons to save his brother and the world. Oh, yeah, the snowman... back to that now. He isn't knit like the stuff above but he does have a matching scarf so he can be in this post.
A little snowman pin.

Any thoughts on how I screwed up the stitches on the scarf? Any suggestions for further Christmasy crafts? What are you making for the Christmas times?
